Following up on my recent posts on the incident, I had the opportunity to discuss the crash of AirAsia QZ8501 with Colin O’Keefe of LXBN. In the interview, I share my thoughts on the potential cause of the incident and what that might mean as far as compensation for families. 


  • Accidents due to bad weather are becoming a raring these days because of the immense improvement in the technology. But if it happened then Mike very correctly said that GE has to share or even bear the entire cost of compensation. Whatever the reasons may be behind this tragedy, Air Asia must be stringently punished, as it was not authorized to fly in this route. I also agree that Warsaw treaty is outdated and it should be changed to facilitate and encourage better safety standards.
